Dylan Roberts founded SouthStar Advisors in 2024 to provide independent strategic advice to financial services companies seeking to create clear competitive differentiation from their peers.

He has partnered with senior executives and board of directors in the financial services industry for over twenty-five years. Dylan started his career at Oliver Wyman when it was a forty person start-up consulting firm, and served as a member of the firm's Management Committee and Governance Committee, and in various practice leadership roles, helping to grow the firm to 5,000+ FTEs during his tenure. He has also worked with Kearney and KPMG, as an executive advisor to a financial-services focused private equity firm, and as an independent advisor.​​

His consulting activities have spanned the banking, wealth management, insurance, financial technologies, and non-bank finance sectors in North America, Europe, and Asia. Areas of focus include strategy and growth, efficiency, organizational design, and risk and financial governance.

Dylan was born and raised in New York City, and currently resides in New Jersey with his wife, two young children (whose two older siblings have already left the nest), and one very loud dog.
